This year the ISBN Regional Meeting of the ISBN agencies of the Balkans took place in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska on 14th and 15th June 2016. Our kind hosts were the National and University Library which runs the ISBN Agency of Srpska. 

Delegates from the following agencies were present at the meeting:

• Montenegro
• Serbia
• Republic of Srpska
• Slovenia
• International ISBN Agency

Reports were given on the implementation of ISBN in the represented countries and, among other items, there were also updates on the progress of the revision of the ISBN Standard and new Users' Manual. 

The International ISBN Agency would like to thank all the colleagues at the National and University Library of the Republic of Srpska for their welcome and for organising the meeting so smoothly. We also thank all the delegates for their participation and contribution to a successful meeting.
