Not sure if you are the publisher?

Here are some questions to help you decide:

Are you being paid to write the book?  If yes, then you are not the publisher

Are you being paid to print the book, edit it, illustrate it, or market it?  If yes, then you are not the publisher

Are you paying for editing, printing, marketing etc?  If so, then yes, you are the publisher

Will you only get money if the book is successful and sells many copies?  If so, then yes, you are the publisher.
